The most popular season to visit the Wine Country is Summer and Fall. Summer is a crowded period, especially during weekends. The hot days are an invitation to the tasting rooms of Napa and Sonoma Valley wineries.

Fall is the harvest time in the wine country, and it’s a busy time at the wineries. Temperatures and the weather in this period are agreeable, which turn it into a crowded season.

Winter is the off-season period, and Spring a nice time in the countryside - and a very good time option to visit the wineries without big crowds around.

Fall and mid and late Spring months bring the best weather conditions.

WHEN NOT TO GO TO THE WINE COUNTRY

Napa and Sonoma have an agreeable year-round weather, and any time is good to visit the wineries, the countryside and the tasting rooms of the wineries or to enjoy the restaurants of Napa and Sonoma valleys.

To avoid crowds and benefit from better accommodation prices you should visit the Country Wine in an off-season period. Summer and Fall are crowded periods.
